General Pet Sitting:
30 minute visits for 1 pet are $23


Often pet owners tell us that when they would board their pets they would become stressed and even sick. In-home pet sitting provides owners with the peace of mind knowing their beloved pet can stay in the comforts of home. Vet Tech Visits works with you to develop a customized pet sitting plan to insure your pet (pets) get the required care, love and play time deserved while you are away in the safest environment.

Wellness Services:
Service prices start at $25


Like their human companions, cats and dogs also require a certain amount of hygiene attention to maintain optimum health on the inside and out.

Vet Tech Visits offers "all" dog and or cat owners the ease and convenience of the following wellness services in the comforts of home!
  • Nails trimming

  • Anal gland expression

  • Ear cleaning

  • Sani-shave


Geriatric, Sick and Special Needs Services:
Nursing services start at $25


  • Hospice Care

  • Tube Feeding

  • Cancer support

  • Pain relief medication

  • Subcutaneous (Sub-Q) fluids for treating:
    • - acute renal failure
    - chronic renal failure
    - dehydration due to illness

  • Injections - vitamins, antibiotics, allergy medication, insulin, and fluids

  • Medication - administering any prescribed medications while you are at work or on vacation

  • In-home lessons on administering SubQ fluids, allergy shots, insulin injections and blood glucose monitoring.

WHAT AREAS DO YOU COVER?

WHAT ARE YOUR RATES?

Refer to services page for basic pricing but call for a quote as we consider medication, number of pets, and location in our pricing structure. Prices cover food/water, litterboxes, accident cleanup, bringing in mail/paper, play time, brushing, and 30 minute visit. There is an extra charge for:
  • holidays
  • multiple pets
  • longer distances
  • watering outside plants


CAN YOU GIVE VACCINATIONS?

No. As a Registered Veterinary Technician, I am not licensed to diagnose or prescribe medications/vaccinations. All pets needing medication must be diagnosed by their veterinarian, and obtain any needed medications before the visit.

WHAT VETERINARY CLINIC DO YOU WORK FOR?

I am not affiliated with any clinic. This allows me to take your pet to your vet if he/she becomes ill while you are away. I do maintain good relationships with many local vets, and can provide references upon request.

DO YOU DO THIS FULLTIME?

Yes. I began this business to fill a very much needed niche.

HOW FAR IN ADVANCE DO I NEED TO SCHEDULE VISITS?

While I can usually fit in most visits on short notice, it is recommended that you schedule as early as possible. During the holidays (especially Thanksgiving and Christmas), I recommend that you call 6-8 weeks in advance to guarantee availability. For new clients there is a complimentary consultation to get house keys and pet/home information. We prefer this consultation be done two weeks or more before your first reservation.
